Loma Systems has designed the X4 800XL for the inspection of large trays, boxes, and packaged products up to 800 mm wide. It offers the very latest advances in X-ray technology, including the detection of metal, high-density plastics, glass, stone, calcified bone, and flavor clumps, detailed product analysis, and functions such as missing/broken component detection, shape recognition, and over/under filled container analysis. Production is set for September 2010.

Vertical Storing Leveler
Serco’s new storing configuration helps enhance security and prevent spoilage at loading docks by reducing the amount of handlers, enabling consistent temperatures and facilitating a more efficient delivery of products. This application utilizes a combination of a 6-foot long minimum vertical storing dock leveler, special placement of vertical dock bumpers and typically a 10’ x 10’ doorway. It also requires a dock shelter with a projection 6-8 inches greater than a standard dock shelter. It will help save money through lower energy bills, loss prevention, and increased productivity.
